Patio Chaise by Derek Elliot

Industrial designer Derek Elliott about project:
“During a collaborative studio between Appalachian State University and the Eastman Chemical Company I developed and prototyped an outdoor chaise lounge. This chaise was designed and built over the course of the Spring 2012 semester and was displayed at High Point Furniture Market in High Point, NC, the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York City and the International Woodworking Fair’s Design Emphasis student design competition in Atlanta, GA. I attended all three of these events to talk about my design and receive feedback from industry professionals.”
