O’ Clock – Maple by Okum Made

O’Clock is a minimalist design created by Los Angeles-based design firm Okum Made. The aesthetic of the clock is ostensibly hidden behind a beautifully molded piece of wood that is CNC machined.

Emphasizing material and process through form. The precise graphic form is machined using the latest in modern woodworking. Sculpted from solid hardwood, the cavity of the clock faces frames the beauty of wood grain by revealing the many years of growth. Hardwood takes decades to mature.  We are strong believers in preserving this natural resource and creating only meaningful objects that use the material responsibly. Offered in Hard White Maple, hand finished in wax to retain the light wood grain.
