Why did we stop innovating at the Paint roller? It surely isn’t perfect, right? It gets supremely annoying at the corners, for sure. The Edge Roller provides that highly needed bit of design refinement to the roller, allowing to change shape, so that it can easily paint those pesky narrow corners. Let’s hope to see these become a reality! And soon!

The Rambler Socket from designer Meysam Movahedi is maybe the solution. The extension cord of almost 1,5 meters cord can be stored inside your wall. Just open it up an plug in any electronic devices – and when your’re finished, put it in the wall again.

After the deed is done, you simply give the wire a gentle tug (activates a spring mechanism), and it recoils back into place. Ideal for using with electronics like vacuum cleaners, hair driers etc where you don’t need extension cords on a full-time basis.

The dominant element of this object is clearly that of the links of a chain. It is broken, however, by a sheet of steel, both an allegorical element and the backbone of the structure on which the books are placed. Its strong visual impact comes to the fore when the entire length of the arch is filled with books.
