Experimental standing chair with the aim of avoid the harmful effects of the sedentary lifestyle. The furniture allows the user dynamic posture changes and helps the user to work close to standing position.

We heard a lot about the harmful effects of the sedentary work style to our spine while we spend most of our work time in seats. But sitting causes obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.

My experimental standing chair allows the user dynamic posture changes. We can work in leaning position, while there is a position close to normal chair we can use to reduce the load on our feet.

The furniture has ethereal but rigid structure. I wanted it to be static and sturdy, to keep the furniture nature. The chair is made up of geometric elements, so i gave matte black finish for more serious and elegant look.

It is based on Richard Buckminster Fuller’s spherical thin-shell structure, which is used for creating the geodesic domes. As is known, such domes have high load carrying capacity, but can be rapidly created of the light elements.
Q1 chair like geodesic dome: it can withstand heavy loads, while remaining visually easy.The inside of the chair upholstered with felt to keep warm, soft parts are made of chenille with flocking substrate. Hollowfiber is used for filling, it’s an environmentally friendly synthetic material capable of retaining its shape, unlike classical fillers.
The spherical shape of the chair provides the most comfortable and natural fit for human and appearance makes it versatile for both the public and home interiors.

Linfa is something more than a bookcase. It touches the very meaning of a “real” metaphor made up of only two essential materials: wood, and books. For the sense of its leaf shape is clear and complete only when the books are actually placed in the appropriate spaces, as key elements of the structure.
Books, therefore, like lifeblood, able to filter and process existence through a spiritual process of photosynthesis, essential to the human spirit.

A shelving unit inspired by the structure of a suspension bridge.
We have always been fascinated by this engineering marvel, which has manifested itself in iconic landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge and the Akashi Kaikyō Bridge. Strong and functional, at the same time awe-inspiring, that prompted us to design this new shelf. The Bridge shelves can be used in a variety of settings, such as in the living room, bathroom or kitchen. Detachable suspension clips, made of bent metal pipes, enable the user to create one’s preferred configuration, be it for the display of personal mementos, bathroom accessories or kitchen spices.

The design studio dialogue method based on Republic of Korea designed Wood Calendar for Munito. This Wood calendar has special point to manufacture it. It is an eco-friendly upcycled product made by throwaway spruce timber. When the building is constructed in Republic of Korea, most of them use the spruce timber for making basic structure. But it is easily wasted, so we think it isn’t good for our planet. The Calendar is consist of base for days and body for numbers. The body can be changed easily once a month. When this month’s first day is Wednesday, you put the No.1 body on Wed base. You can use entire life like this.

The “Bias of Thoughts” Bookshelf by John Leung

Inspired by the famous 2D drawing of the optical illusive bookshelf, a 3D structure is translated and the “Bias of Thoughts” bookshelf is formed. It can be used for shelving books and iPads as well as hanging magazines. Visually, the optical illusion serves as a reminder that, whenever one picks up a medium, ideas can be misinterpreted when passed from one end to the other.
