Octopuses are extremely intelligent creatures. They’ve been known to correctly predict the future, escape from the tiniest of openings, and even open jars… from inside! They now add another trick to their arsenal of awesomeness. Holding your toiletries with their eight rather useful arms!

The Octopus Shower Caddy isn’t obviously a real octopus, but it takes inspiration from the animal, providing 8 rather handy arms (tentacles?) that conveniently hold onto your personal toiletries from your shampoo and shower gel, to your moisturizer and hair serum. Made from silicone, the arms do a good job of gripping even the smoothest bottles without letting go of them, allowing you to access all your essentials without accidentally knocking things around or spilling containers with your wet hands… because puny human is clumsy. Mighty octopus is not!

Kulle Chill-out zone by Stefanie Schissler

German designer Stefanie Schissler created the concept for an original looking upholstered daybed. As the designer herself stated, the overall goal of the project was to create the ultimate relaxation place. A chill-out zone that calls out to the user with its genuine appearance; one should feel the comfort just by looking at it.

“Kulle was created to evoke the instinctive feelings of safety and relaxation. It is addressing our sense of touch combined with curiosity and the desire to explore things. In order to prevent the increasing consumption we as designers should think of new ways to enhance the lifespans of the products in our everyday life. Persistence means sustainability. But how does one achieve a long-life cycle when it comes to the products we’re surrounded by. I believe, that one way could be to emotionally connect.“, Stephanie said.

“For humans, the cat tunnel sofa is just a comfortable sofa, but for the cats, it is their playground and a comfortable bed,” – says Seungji Mun. Cat owners with ripped up furniture due to their cat’s kneading will probably wonder where the scratching post is located; Perhaps that will be included on the next model.

Seungji Mun designed the sofa with the aim of “enhancing the harmony between human and pet.” Its chic, clean, modern design will certainly help improve your personal sense of feng shui, even while your cat deviously tries to sabotage it. Of course, the sofa should also help keep your inside cat from getting into trouble due to boredom, and that’s priceless. Early trials of the sofa have shown that cats take an immediate liking to the design. It only took a short time before they began exploring the tunnels.

In the future, Mun hopes to prove that he’s both cat and dog friendly. “Later on, through my designs I want to inform people how serious abandoned dogs and environmental problems are. I will explore ways to solve these problems,” – says Seungji Mun.
